Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Solo. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
Shipping And Handling
(1) - Order Value - Shipping charges will depend on the size of your order and where you are located in the world the website will work this out for you when ordering.
(2) - Standard Post UK (Up to 5 working days) - Charges from £1.00 ALL ORDERS OVER £20 FREE
(3) - Next Working Day (Mon - Fri except for the more remote areas of UK where delivery may be later) UK only. - Charges from £6.99
(4) - Standard EU from £3.50
(5) - Rest of the World from £6.75

With Royal Mail Special Delivery services: Please note orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday
Delivery Schedule Our post is disptched at 4pm each day orders placed after this time will be processed on the following day. All goods will be shipped within 5 working days once payment has been received. If any item is not in stock, we will hold your order, if we are expecting a delivery within 3 days, and dispatch your order when complete. If the delivery is not expected within three days we will e-mail you offering you the option to cancel out of stock items and receive the rest of your order. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Your order will be confirmed by return e-mail.
If you have not received your order within the time frame indicated please check with your local sorting office because if the postman was unable to deliver to you the parcel will be held at the sorting office for 3 weeks before being returned to us (1 week for Special Delivery items). If the parcel is returned to us you will be responsible for the cost of the postage for us to re-send the item. For goods sent to Customers outside the UK please allow 28 days for delivery.
Back Orders If any item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is applicable to your order including shipping charge. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero . PLEASE NOTE IF YOU CLICK THE EXEMPT BUTTON FOR ORDERS TO BE DELIVERED TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES THIS MAY CAUSE A DELAY WHILE WE CONTACT YOU TO ALTER THE AMOUNT PAYABLE TO INCLUDE VAT.
Credit Card Security All card transactions are processed through a secure server and our site has the Golden Padlock seal.
Guarantee If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 28 days of the date of despatch, with your receipt, providing it is still in its original undamaged packaging for exchange or refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Lost or Damaged Goods
In the unlikly event that your order is lost in transit, after allowing a reasonable period for delay, please contact us during office hours (listed below) on 00 44 (0)20 8767 0036 or by e-mail wimbledonsewingmachinecoltd@btinternet.com.
In the case of damaged goods please sign the delivery note "parcel damaged" and notify us immeadiatly, during office hours (listed below) on 00 44 (0)20 8767 0036 or by e-mail wimbledonsewingmachinecoltd@btinternet.com.. The goods must then be returned to us.
We will require a written statement from you as to the nature of any loss or damage.

Cancellation: A customer may cancel their order within Fourteen days (starting the day after the goods were received). All goods must be returned unopened or unused. Customers will be responsible for all postal and packing charges for returning goods. A refund, excluding original shipping cost, will be made within 30 days of the cancellation provided the goods have been received by us.
Returns Policy Goods may be returned for refund or exchange if damaged. Goods returned for other reasons may be subject to a handling charge. Dress patterns cannot be changed/returned unless faulty.
Remittance Terms All orders must be paid for in full before they are despatched.

Returned goods may be subject to a handling fee. If you are returning goods you will be liable for any postal costs incurred.
